Hello. It's been a really long time since I've done one of these...

So I'm a livejournal transplant, like so many others. But what can you do about that!

Here's the fun part, the part explaining a little about who I am;

Well what can I say about me? First of all my name is Jill, I go by a few other names on the internets however I decided to just forgo my nicknames here and just go by my actual name.

I have dual citizenship and split my time between Montreal, New York City and Massachusetts. I go to school, like so many others. There's nothing really special about the school I'm going to. So I'm not going to go much into detail on that one. I'm a female, though all my role playing characters are males so there's that. Take from that what you will.

I live on my own in a one bedroom apartment... thing... I live currently with three dogs! All of whom are rescues and all of whom are mutts. I love each and every one of them. I'm obsessed with dogs, especially pitbulls. (Though I only own one pit mix.) I'm very anti-breed discrimination. I'm giving you fair warning now that a good 30% of my posts are pictures of the cute things my dogs do. ;)

Now for the fun stuff;

When it comes to fandoms I'm pretty all over the map! I'm really into television, some of my favorite shows being;

The Mentalist, Hawaii Five-0 (both old and new), Criminal Minds, M*A*S*H, The IT Crowd, NCIS, CSI & CSI New York, Modern Family, Black Books, Bones, Buffy, Smallville (not a huge fan of the newer seasons, but still watch), Red Dwarf, Doctor Who, Heroes (but not this latest season, and my favorite Doctor is Tom Baker even if he is a total douche nozzle.)

I like a lot of Animes, if you ask I've probably seen it. I was more of the 90's to early 00's generation of Anime. My favorite being Detective Conan. But I don't even know where to begin to start talking about it, if you want we can totally go into discussions? That's half the fun of this sort of thing isn't it?

Comics;

Comics are my life. In fact I work at a comic book shop, I've worked at three different ones and one book store all of which closed thanks to the economy. I'm a marvel girl at heart but I read just about everything. Some of my favorites include; Iron Man, X-Men, Superman, Spider-man, Watchmen, Young Avengers, Scott Pilgrim, Batman, Walking Dead, The Punisher the list goes on and on! I read almost everything that comes through our doors. From private to brand, I love me some comics.

Sports!;

I'm very into sports, which is probably weird to mention here I have yet to see people mention sports. But it's a big part of me so I should probably mention it.

I'm very into ice sports (I know, Canadien). I watch Hockey and Figure Skating religiously and play hockey myself in school. My favorite hockey teams are the New York Rangers and the Montreal Canadiens. I couldn't pick my favorite figure skater if I tried, but it'd probably be one part Hamilton and one part Weir. I'm obsessed with Weir but probably for all the wrong reasons he's just adorable! I'm also obsessed with American Football. I love the Patriots and the Cowboys. I'm going to marry Wes Welker, he just doesn't know it yet. I watch football just as much as I watch hockey and I blame my americanified parents.

Hobbies;

My hobbies are pretty vast, but the two top things are- I'm an avid hiker. I was going to do the Appalachian Trail this year until an injury of one of my dogs caused us to get off the trail and head home. We'll be doing a lot of weekend hikes his year until we can get back on the trail to try and finish it. I love to roleplay but I'm very casual about it. I'm not a grammar nazi, I'm not a response nazi, I just try and be chill. Though I have to admit I get a little high strung about seeing as a pest to others. It's a real problem of mine that I'm trying to fix. It's a problem with my OCD where I don't see I'm worthy enough. But we wont get into that because then someone might think I'm crazy.

Okay so, I think I've given you a whole novel. Hope I can find some new interesting friends! I look forwards to it!

I'm not sure how many fandoms we have in common other than X-Men and Batman (you can check my interests and see if any of the anime there are the ones you like), but there are a couple of other things in your write-up I noticed. I'm originally from Beloeil (30km outside Montreal, and I went into the city often) and my father was a fan of the Canadiens from way back when they were the Montreal Maroons and he listened to them on the radio. XD

I also love to RP and am OCD. We can try being friends and if it doesn't work out, we go our separate ways, no hard feelings?

Yeah I'm terrible at listing all my fandoms we probably have some sort of overlapping somewhere! And go Canada! I was born and raised. The only reason I travel now is for work and school otherwise I'd just stay in my house all the time and never leave canada and omg the maroons that's old school! I have a throwback jersey I got as a birthday gift. I wish I had a real one so hardcore.

I'd love to add you! I'm mostly chill I have to admit. So you never know, but I'm good with no hard feelings I'm not the sort who's gonna be like "Y R U NO B FRIENDS NO MOAR!" I'm more likely the one to be like "Hey if I'm bothering you you're more than welcome to completely ignore me! :D"

Hi there. We have a few fandoms/interests in common: MASH, NCIS, CSI, hockey, american football. But I'm not sure if those last two are a good basis for a new friendship as I am a die-hard Sabres and Bills fan. ;)

I've not been very active lately with posting as RL has been busy (I work 60+ hrs a week, have a 3 year old and I'm pregnant), but I do check my reading page often enough. So if you feel like it, add me back.

Ha! Ugh Bills! My best friend is a huge Bills fan though. ;) Nothing wrong with that though! I respect and love the game in general so there's that.

I get that. I'm currently in the process of moving and starting a new job so I've no idea how active I'll be (probably pretty for a while than slowly tapering off.) But I'd love to add you back! :D

Yaaaaaay! Go dual citizens! I went to the UK for a bit though! On a student visa! Omg I'm so obsessed with the Mentalist omg. I do know Monk as well and can't believe I didn't add it!

HA! Of course! ;) Omg I post so much about my dogs it's kinda ridiculous. And I don't meet too many hiking friends! So that's always good, and I'm way okay with the no hard feelings thing. I don't hold grudges, I don't have enough time!

awesome! more hiking is one of my resolutions :D i'm sure we'll get on famously.
