Aurora is in the house!
Yes, yes... I am another soul that is doing her best to move on from LJ. The name I go by is Aurora Redwinters - it is not my real name, but I like it a lot better. lol.
I am 28 years old, female, and a college graduate. I harbor some negative feelings regarding the whole college experience and if I could redo things, that would be one of the first things I would target - I'd definitely follow my dreams instead.
I like/love a lot of things - I am a HUGE Sonic the Hedgehog fan and collect anything related to the blue blur. I also hold a soft spot in my heart for Rurouni Kenshin. My first real OMG obsession occurred when my 5 year old self became involved with a phenomenon known as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Michaelangelo was my party dude. I still follow the turtles, but am not as obsessed today as I once was.
I am a cartoon geek in general - specifically of during the 80's - mid 90's time frame. I love Ducktales, Inspector Gadget, Beavis and Butthead, Talespin, TinTin, Tiny Toons, etc. I also enjoy the more recent Thundercats and Scooby Doo: Mystery Inc.
Besides that, I love to draw, write, and voice act. I consider myself a creative person and dream of writing my own comic book, movie, tv pilot, something! I also love the water, and being in Florida helps because there is a lot of that here!
Someday I plan on getting a tattoo and jumping out of an airplane. I also would love to live in Hawaii eventually. In the meantime I constantly daydream.... and think.
I like kids - sometimes. So I don't plan on having any, but I might consider adoption eventually. I am still waiting for Mr. Right, but I am not putting my life on hold to find him. Life is just too damn short.
I also have a dachshund named Hercules Finkelstein. I spoil him rotten, the little stinker. I love dogs - they love you unconditionally no matter what.
Thanks for listening. :)

Brings back wonderful memories of Pinky and the Brain, Mummies Alive! and the Spiderman/X-Men cartoons, as well as those you mentioned~<3
If anything, how bad cartoons are now only accentuates how bloody awesome these are. xD
+1 for being a Sonic fan, as well - I have to admit I went right off Sonic's 3D games (too many bad side characters and dodgy controls/voice acting, although Heroes I loved and Generations is fantastic as well) - but I grew up with Sonic, and I hold him in much higher esteem than I do any other mascot character from that era...or the current era in gaming, for that matter.
Friends? =3

Also I had issues with university too, it is something I would not go back to if I had the choice to "do over" my life.
Your reasoning for loving dogs is the same as mine! And Hercules Finkelstein: GREATEST. NAME. EVER!
I would LOVE to be friends with you Aurora, if you'd permit it?

I am rather fond of King Ottokar's Sceptre, The Secret of the Unicorn, Red Rackham's Treasure and The Calculus Affair!
I'm a bit of a geek for Tintin, I own all the books, all the DVDs and some massive film posters. :P
