LOOKING FOR: Anyone, really. Common interests are always helpful, but I like hearing about things I don't necessarily know about. I'm quite liberal, so if you're moderately conservative we might clash if I ever talk social issues or politics, but it is completely okay to disagree. I like hearing other people's points of view, and I love it when we can talk about things even if we know we disagree. And, musicians and gamers are super welcome. :)
ANYTHING ELSE?: I'm a Christian, and I'm gay. (Most people IRL don't know I'm gay until I tell them.) I'm a suuuper big fan of Värttinä as well as the Eurovision contest. Vivaldi is possibly my favorite composer ever. I like posting in languages I'm learning sometimes, which right now could be Finnish, German, or Norwegian (I haven't dared to try writing anything in Estonian yet). I'm not very good about leaving comments, but I read people's entries if they're on my reading list. And, most importantly, I'm open to questions. Ask me about myself and I will probably answer.

Uh, yay for Scandinavia. I also took six semesters of German in my life (of which only four were actually relevant in any way), but I'm no longer living in Germany so any sort of German I spy on the internet makes me smile.

OMGYES!!! :D I'm a bassoonist, but I've played oboe for years too. And I totally love Vivaldi for the bassoon concertos, not gonna lie. :D

Lately I've been rambling about the Grecoroman world more than the double reed one, but oboe is my background, and I've been learning bassoon as my minor.
Do you get the quarterly Double Reed pamphlet, too?

They... sound cool xD I play more Telemann, Cimarosa, Handel... Mozart, Bach... then when my orchestras play Beethoven I've been the oboe I.
I'm trying not to let tuning the whole orchestra go to my head.

It's kind of cross-orchestra contact, and kind of not. xD Bassoon and oboe are right behind each other.

I wish to add you tremendously. I'm very strict and kind of a worrisome person when it comes to certain people to add due to my nature of work. I fear we will clash, but at the same time by what you're saying in this profile of yours is that you don't mind to hear what I may have to say.

I love double reeds, my boyfriend was a bassoon in high school and that's what I called him. My roommate was a Oboe player. How much I wanted to be an oboe player, but it just tickled my lips too much-- I was happy being a simple woodwind clarinet. ♥ And I absolutely adore and miss my Bass Clarinet. Gosh, I wish I could do band all over again-- college was not the same for me by any means. I was in Marching Band my high school year and actually regret not pursing it in college or something! D:

And ohmygosh you like Phoenix Wright and Apollo Justice! I think my mind is made up! I hope you consider adding me in return. ♥ And I have no problem with you being Christian and gay. I mean, I have no right to judge you at all. I hope that I never offend you, either.

Oh, no worries at all, I'm much the same way. But I've been cultivating several real-life friendships where we certainly don't agree on lots of things, and I'm finding that these people are becoming my closer friends, and some are already in my closest range. I don't mind respectful clashing of opinion at all.

Haha, I do love the clarinet. <3 I've done marching band for seven years straight (four years on horn/mellophone, three on alto sax), and I'm definitely glad that I am done with it. I think I will miss it in good time, but it feels great to suddenly not have to do it. (And, the band scholarship certainly doesn't hurt!)

Ace Attorney=some of my favorite games evar. :D I LOVED Investigations! You're added :D Don't worry about offending me, it's very difficult. :)

What type of video games do you like?

I generally go for RPGs and strategy (Final Fantasy, Fire Emblem, Golden Sun, a little dipping into Tales... and Persona), but I also really, really like the Ace Attorney games. I also play Pokémon some. And I've recently gotten into the Assassin's Creed games, which I love mostly for the historical setting.

As a fellow gay dude that grew up in a church every Sunday Christian family, I'm interested in how you managed to stay with the faith in the process of growing up (for me, I slipped into the realm of the agnostic). And I like video games as well!

Go for it! :) I can tell you that it definitely isn't easy, especially when you have a world of (misinformed, IMO) people trying to tell you that you can't possibly believe what you believe because of who you are. What games do you like?

I like RPGs, mainly many of the 16 and 32 bit classics. My favorite RPG ever is Skies of Arcadia and other than that I love Grandia I and II, FFIX,the first Lunar Game and so on. I recently bought a Japanese Wii, so I've been playing Xenoblade (which is, like, the best game ever and may be competing for number on with Skies once I finish) and the new Zelda.
