Giving this another go.
I posted here perhaps a year or so ago, but am now looking to expand my connections here and create a solid home. :)
I'm a 28 year old graphic designer and artist living in "The City Too Busy to Hate" (aka Atlanta). Two cats own my fiance and me, and we're slated to be married in September of 2012. There's a few dedicated wedding entries, but not much since I'm trying to keep the details a big surprise to friends/family attending. :)
I'm starting to become active in the crafting circle, making friends and vending in shows. Art has always been a passion of mine and lately my entries revolve heavily around shows I'm in, things I've created, and recent artists I've fallen in love with. I would absolutely love to have other artists to connect with here as it seems the communities for crafting and sewing are dead.
I'm not any particular religion though friends and surveys often peg me as a Buddhist Pagan. I wax spiritual in entries occasionally (especially when I'm deeply rooted in an art project) but don't push my thoughts on anyone else. My beliefs constantly shift and change like I do so I welcome discussion and diversity on the topic!
I'm not looking for fandom reads or what you ate for breakfast daily. My friends and I talk about all kinds of subjects as it relates to our personalities so I'm looking for journals out there that do the same. If you live in Atlanta, perhaps one day we can meet as we get to know one another! I've made many lifelong connections from LJ and now travel to see those friends often, so it'd be wonderful to expand that circle through Dreamwidth. It doesn't matter how often you post - I don't post too frequently either! - but of course we'll know each other more if we do. I am trying to post a lot more. I also do NOT require you comment. If you have something to say, fantastic! If you don't, lurk away. ;)
I look forward to meeting you! Let me know you've added me so I can add you back (most entries are friends-only). You can visit me to read a little bio if you'd like first. :)
