Hello! I am looking for some friends as I am new to DW and don't have anyone on my list at all!!

My name is Charlotte, I'm 25 years old and currently living in the UK (I originally come from Hoquiam, WA). I am not working right now (but am looking for work!) although I am studying Psychology and I also work as a volunteer community support worker. I am interested in lots of things, from music, art, movies and pretty much all things creative, to cooking, health and fitness. Although I should say that overall, music is the main thing I am really passionate about. To me, music is also a form of therapy and I'd be lost without it. :)

I am someone who comments often and updates pretty regularly and I would like friends who are similar so that we can get to know each other and hopefully establish some good friendships along the way. I am open-minded, honest and very loyal to my friends. I don't have a problem if you like guys, girls or both, if you are religious or not, or who you are or where you are from.

My only rule is that you respect the things I write about in my journal, as I will respect the things you write about in yours. Please feel free to add me and/or leave a comment - thanks for reading. :)

I'd like to add you. If you don't like reading about pets (dog and cat) then you would probably be bored with my journal cause recently I adopted an abandoned kitty and have been posting a lot about her and how my dog is dealing. I've never had a cat before so it's all new hehe.

Yay! My most recent entry has bit of music in it which you said you like.

I wouldn't go back very far in my journal though as about two weeks ago I had a med change and was doing terrible and my journal reflected it hehe. :)

What do you volunteer in, exactly? :O (Myself, I've been cursing my inability to drive because I want so badly to volunteer at a pet shelter!)

I'd love to friend someone who comments/updates regularly, as I've been trying to get myself back in the habit of blogging/commenting more myself. I'd like to get to know you, if you'd like. Sometimes my entries can be a little dark, but mostly the only threat to reading them is that they're boring, but hopefully I can fix that over time. ;)

I work as a youth support worker, working with young people aged 12-25, helping them out with advice, housing, health and other services like counselling, etc. I don't drive either and had to reply on public transport until I was lucky enough to get a placement within walking distance of my home. :) I'm hoping I'll have enough money saved so I can start learning to drive in 2012.
