NAME: Julie. I also go by Celes and rarely go by Scoot.
AGE: In my twenties.
INTERESTS: Computers, Writing, Reading (though I don't read often enough), Internet (falls under the computer category I guess), Cats, Video Games, Music.
HOBBIES: Video games, mainly. Would play more if my computer's video card weren't practically shot. I love RPGs, mainly the Final Fantasy Series as well as the Mario RPGs (Super Mario RPG, Paper Mario), and platformers are fun too! I also really enjoy reading even though I don't do it often enough. Music is something I couldn't see going without for a long time, and my favorite band is probably Radiohead. (I have a soft spot for Rammstein though.)
I used to roleplay avidly until a year or so ago and sometimes I think about doing it again though lack of a decent amount of free time kind of hinders that possibility. I had a lot of fun RPing back in the day, though, and while I doubt I could join a full on RP on here or LiveJournal again, I may be able to RP with one or two people occasionally if I manage my time well. I RP'd as Scout and Sniper from Team Fortress 2 as well as a few characters from various anime but I doubt I will play those anime characters again.
Oh, and this is related to playing video games, but I enjoy watching Let's Plays sometimes, as well as poking around the Something Awful forums.
LOOKING FOR: Well, this is embarrassing, but I do not have any close online friends anymore. It seems that I have either bored the ones I was previously close to or we just went different ways. It's a shame because I haven't had what I would call a 'close' friend (online or off) in many years, aside from my boyfriend, and I would like to change that. I would like to have friends on here that I can relate to as well as chat with about random things. I don't want to just add people to pad my friends list. I want real friends. :) I'm really shy on AIM though, and rarely sign on, so until I get to chat with people on here or through email a little bit I'm wary of using AIM. I'm kind of embarrassed that I'll say something dumb since I didn't have much time to think up what to write, unlike email. Haha. :x
ANYTHING ELSE?: I spent a decent amount of time (read: 30 minutes, haha) typing up a little bit about myself on my friends only post if you'd like to read that too.

I played Final Fantasy 2 when it was ported to the iPhone and it was awesome… I don't have time for playing other episodes though, wish I had. What I really enjoy playing are indie casual games and roguelikes. I mean NetHack — haven't tried others such as slash'em or Sporkhack because I think I should ascend in vanilla NetHack first (It's hard! You'll always forget that you have time and make stupid moves. But it's definitely worth trying)

The original FF2? I never played much of it, couldn't really get used to the leveling up system. I have never played a Roguelike, but my boyfriend has. Sometimes he plays Dungeon Crawl. I tried watching him play it once but it kind of bored me. :(
