Hello!
I am looking for new long-term DW friends (regular-ish updaters/ commenters). Gender, skin colour, religion, nationality are not important factors. Personality, and integrity are paramount.

I am 31, and live in a small fishing town on the southwest coast of England with Mum (my only rellie). I work part time as a supply teacher (mainly theatre but can be any subject on the planet, heehe) around local secondary schools, and am doing a part time Masters degree in performing arts and educational research. I am also one of the two co-founders of an award-winning local theatre company, one half of a sword-dancingact, and am starting a historical re-enactment group, with some other friends. I am also in a pirate re-enactment group. Heres a very rare picture of me not actually doing something bizarre.

I am an eclectic pagan by religion, far-left by political views, non-conformist and workaholic by nature, and have had an LJ account (same username) since 2003. This one started as backup to my LJ but theres cool people here too.

because he is gorgeous hehe. We have been friends since 2005, and been going out for almost a year. Not quite sure how that happened, as we are both the least romantic people in the universe and had been spending all our time running screaming from the very idea of romantic entanglements.

My hobbies and interests include: acting, performing arts, medieval
combat/arms/armour, LARP, historical re-enactments, organic vegetable gardening, costuming, being silly, occultism, the paranormal, past lives, all things Elven, anti-capitalist activism, digital photography, LJ and DW, sci fi, fantasy, survival skills, creative writing, calligraphy, bellydancing, foraging, wild foods, University, history, community projects, dreaming, individuality, independance, and all kinds

I post most often with funny stories from life, various rants on whatever I feel the need to ascend the soapbox about, picspams, past life regressions, psychic/paranormal stuff, costuming, theatre andperformance stuff, historical re-enacting, LARPing, and whatevers on my mind. I update most days. Ideally would love to hear from friends who I have something in common with so that we have lots to natter about.

andFYI; things I detest: Modern fashion, enclosed spaces, Kawaii, Disney and all over-cutesy stuff, rudeness, racism, wilful ignorance, overcooked steak, capitalist imperialism, shopping, daytime TV, people trying to boss me around, being tagged in memes, dishonesty, etc. :)
