gao.....

Hello everyone. My name is Kattu and I'm no good at introducing myself. I'm 25 years old, living on my own, single and happy, and I recently adopted my first plant. I've been on Dreamwidth for a long time and I guess I'm tired of only the same five or six people updating on my friends list. I was in the process of revamping my Dreamwidth when the site slowness kicked in, so don't let my lack of access-only entries and icons say anything about me. I'll allow my comment and entry count say it for me instead. I have been on LiveJournal since '99 and while I can't fully abandon it, I do use Dreamwidth primarily for personal purposes.

I have strange hobbies like collecting figures and roleplaying, but I do enjoy playing video games. I'm primarily a closed beta tester for a lot of upcoming games, but I do tend to play a lot of classics. I dig out Ragnarok Online every few months I swear. My primary fandoms are pretty easy to tell from my interest and figure list: Type-Moon, Evangelion, Nippon Ichi (or hell, most Atlus things these days), Warcraft, giant robots, fanservice, and anything that seems interesting. I find myself giving a lot of things chances. I'm also a secret Homestuck fan (as in I rarely talk about it and it always surprises friends who have known me forever when I do bring it up) and TCG player.

Now time for the rude part: I'm only interested in adding people who will primarily be on Dreamwidth. I know this is a bad time to come looking for friends since there are so many LiveJournal refugees and I had planned to do this last week before this started. I just don't want to have to pay to change my username again to remove all of these dead journals on my list.

So have at me if you will.

You and I have a ton in common. And I've gradually become disillusioned with LJ (having moved over here a few months ago after having been a paid account member for nearly a decade), so I hear you on that front.
