Yes ma'am. RPG maker is a computer program I use. I'm most experienced with the 2003 version, but I'm getting decent with the actual legal versions too. The graphics are comparable to a SNES game, but I still like it, I do.

I wish I could still use the 2003 version. It's not compatible with Vista that I'm using now, so I settled for RPG Maker VX.

I think I prefer 2003, just because even if it isn't as flexible, I find it a lot easier to use. When I make improvements with VX, they are ever so slight ;_;

I've been thinking of upgrading to Vista, but its too expensive to get legally, so I might just stick with XP.

You're right. 2003 is better than VX not only because I'm more familiar with the former, but because of other factors like memory usage as well. I've tried comparing. VX definitely eats up more that I had to make sure I have extra RAM.

I don't have a choice in OS. The laptops I have with me now run on Vista and Linux. Maybe I can still install 2003 on my old laptop back home. It still runs on XP :)

p.s/ Wow, it's been a while since I find someone who has interest in RPG Maker too :)

Yes, how lucky! I'm quite a ninja with it, I think, but early on I suffered from not being able to construct a good story or make characters with any kind of depth/personality :/
