Hey! Just set-up my blog here (just in case LJ takes a nosedive) and looking for friends/communities to add to reading page. I don't know how much I'll be posting, so you may not see too many entries from me.

Interests: Music (pretty much all kinds except for heavy industrial or screaming metal), art, reading, writing (love writing prompt communities), politics, history (mostly U.S. history), mythology, the occult, movies, CSS junkies, people who use Twitter, urban exploration photography, cooking (and exchanging recipes)
Dislikes: Homophobes (or any bigots in general), "princesses", people who like Jersey Shore, people obsessed with anime or WoW
Obsessions: Robert Pattinson, books, Glee, horror movies, The Bird and The Bee (especially their Hall & Oates cover album), politics
I'm generally looking for people who are over 18 but if you're still in your last years of high school, that's fine. A lot of my blogs are about politics and I tend to post memes just for fun, but pretty much only for friends to see. I banter a lot about entertainment, like posting movie reviews. I also post a lot of photos and videos on blogs so if you don't like blogs that are media-heavy, it would probably be a good idea to add but not subscribe. As far as communities, I'm looking for anything with political discussions OR recipes/foodies OR movies OR icon/banner makers OR layout makers. You don't have to ask before adding and most of my blogs will be public anyway. Thanks!
