Greetings DW!
I suppose I should off start with a little about me (: My name is Marcia and I am a 30 year old female living in Connecticut, USA. I was originally born in Sao Miguel, Portugal and immigrated with my folks when I was 2 years old. I mention Sao Miguel sometimes because I have visited and would like to go again at some point. I work at a local college in Admissions and Registration. I am big on family and friends. I write practically every day.
Things that I tend to write about:
-- My every day life. Work, things I saw that day or learned that day (either via web searches or life experience), thoughts on random happenings.
-- Family and friends. They’re a huge part of my life and I take the good with the bad.
-- Photographs. I am a total wanna-be photographer. I do it more for fun than for anything else, and post photos from time to time (usually small images and only 2-3 outside of a cut, rest behind a cut).
-- I sometimes write reviews: movies, books I’ve read, TV shows. Right now my obsessive TV shows are: NCIS, X-Files (watching from beginning to end), The Vampire Diaries, Nikita and True Blood. These are the ones I write about most often (and hope to add Game of Thrones soon) but I watch other shows: L&O: CI, Family Guy, Friend’s repeats, House, L&O: SVU, Criminal Minds (older episodes), etc.
-- I love to play video games. I got into them when I was around 20 and never really stopped. The games I play most are: MOHAA, SIMS3, MW2, MOH, the notorious FB games, and recently got into WoW thanks to a friend of mine (/sarcasm :D). On average I don’t play all that much (maybe 15-ish hours a week), but I play enough to write random things here and there.

photographic_i. We run bi-monthly contests, and I sometimes post about that in my personal journal, when it’s time for ‘voting’.
-- I sometimes write short little stories (no fan-fic, only original fic) and will post these. It’s not something I do too often but I do go through phases with it (one month I may post nothing and then another month something once a week).
That’s me in a nutshell. I’d really love to meet some new folks who tend to be active (but not required). I love to read all types of entries: personal, fiction, photographs, etc. I have a pretty diverse group of posters already and would like to have a few more friendly faces.
