My name is Dusty. I am from ze land of Australia, and I'm eighteen.

I have depression and anxiety (mostly social anxiety, but other stuff thrown in occasionally), and will often post things influenced by one or both - while I deliberately try to be more positive these days, I can't always promise it. (Don't worry - I cut most of it.) Most of what I post is introspection and learning about myself, and I don't often post about what I did in my day because I don't leave the house much, yet.

I'm most likely to comment on introspection and pondering. I love getting to know myself and watching people get to know themselves as well, and their opinions and explorations of stuff. I'm a supportive person and I like giving out hugs, and advice when asked. I'm curious about alternate lifestyles and love to learn about them.

I love ferrets! Given the chance, I could talk about my fuzzies for ages and ages. I own seven, with an eighth (our fourth rescue) who will come home after the new year, and occasionally post about them. I also have a dog I love to pieces and two cockatiels who are just as dear to my heart.

I'm very fascinated by the paranormal, spirituality and religion, and lately I've developed an interest in Kemetic Orthodoxy and the Egyptian gods, and I'm beginning to learn about those things steadily. (I have a filter for these things - feel free to ask to be on!) I am accepting of other people's beliefs and really like to learn about them, but I draw the line at what I see as pointless hate and/or condemnation.

We have some things in common.

My journal revolves a lot around introspection. Depression runs in my family, and I have a personality that make social skills very hard. I keep a positive outlook on life as much as possible, but I still feel like an outsider looking in.

I am also interested in paranormal and religious. I was a pagan for years. Now, not so much, but I still have a shrine to some Egyptian gods.

Those are beautiful pictures. :D Thank you! I'd very much like to make an icon or two for myself. Alas, my fuzzy pictures aren't nearly good enough quality to make icons out of. (Not to mention, most of them are tails/butts/half a head/blurry bodies!)
