Looking for new friends!

Are there any 30-somethings out there? I'm 37 and I'm looking for new DW friends. Friends around the same age as mine would be nice but that's not strictly necessary. I have a LJ account, I would like to move to DW permanently at some point, but I still have very few friends here and it's quite lonely.
I live in Italy, I've studied Japanese at university, I love languages, cats (I have one), photography (you'll see quite a lot of it in my journal), travelling (never enough of that, unfortunately). I am not into fandoms of any kinds. Well, you can see more on my profile. :-)
I go through phases when I post a lot, and phases when I am quiet, but while I don't always comment, I do read my friends' pages regularly.

I'm also about 10 years older than you. :) However, I love your photography and you seem congenial. I read your profile and agree with about 95% of what you said. The exceptions being; I'm not a huge fan of yellow, I like fandom though I don't talk about it much and I kinda like the country I live in :). *adds*

Oh, I only like certain things yellow, and only certain shades of yellow. heh

Actually, I think that's a fairly accurate description of my relationship to yellow, too. I mostly go through phases in the colors I like and I don't really have a favorite but yellow is the one color that I will cheerfully admit I'm a little strange about.
