Hello!

I'm somewhat new here. Like so many previously, I have finally decided to make the switch. I have imported all of my LJ entries, but most of them are "locked".

Me:
- 30, Connecticut, Female (I imported my profile from LJ, so the age hasn't been updated in a few years)

What I write about:

- Work: It's a big part of my life, and who doesn't write about work/school? :)
- My friends and family: They are my life and I love them dearly. I am VERY family oriented. I am not married nor do I have kids, but I'm very close to my folks and brothers.
- Photos: I love to take pictures and often post them up. I haven't gone out recently, but I will soon enough. :D
- Just every day stuff, mixed in with some things I may find on the internet or some thoughts I might have on some news taking place in the world... I try to be neutral, but if I do have a strong opinion on something I'll state it.

Looking For:

- People who are kind and open about their lives.
- People who share some similar interests with me.
- People who write often. I'm a little worried about leaving Livejournal because I had a very active friend's page, and people will be missed (not many have moved over nor will they). I'm hoping to build another 'active' friend's list to read.

Hi, I'd be glad to have you, but fair warning- I do post memes at times. Right now I'm doing the 30 day book meme, so every day I answer the next book question; once it's finished I'll be doing the second one, so another 30 days. But that's in addition to regular posts, that I'm doing better [than when at LJ] with posting frequently. We do have quite a lot in common, I think we'd get along well! ^^

Agreed! I mean, I'm not a fan of endless "about me" kind of memes with all the random trivial bits (though every once in a great while I will do one of those in a fit of boredom, hahaha), but books, come on, how can you go wrong with that?! ;P
