I've hated LJ for years and finally got around to moving thanks to my bestie sphynxle 

Basics:

• Name: Rachel
• Age: 19
• Occupation: Undergraduate English student
• Secondary occupation: Extremely part-time substitute teacher
• Hobbies: fanfiction writing, NaNoWriMo, organic/natural living, spouting off about things I probably should keep quiet about, and being awkward.

Random stuff:

• I'm a hardcore Trekkie and Fringe-head. I also enjoy Lost, Heroes, Doctor Who, and L&O to various degrees.
• I love movies and used to be a film student.
• I love to read though because I'm an English student, I don't have much time for extra-curricular reading anymore.
• I talk about my schooling a lot.
• I have depression, but want to get away from talking about it as much.
• I'm a very liberal Catholic who's going through a spiritual kufuffle right now.
• Right now my goal is to be an adoption major, but...we'll see what happens.
• 2010 has officially been the single worst year of my life so far.
• I have a 6 month old white pomeranian puppy named Pasha. I love him so much.
• I've been out as a bisexual since 2003. I've only had one relationship, with a male.

English Honors grad here (back in the 1980s though) who also does NaNo, also writes fanfiction, also has depression (usually under control), and who used to be Catholic. Oh, and who is also bisexual, married to a fellow bisexual.
