Yet another...
LJ refugee.
Not a whole lot to tell, really. I'm a 23 year old post-grad, and I still identify as an English major (writing emphasis, anthropology minor), even though I've since done a stint in the retail world and currently do admin work for a ministry in my area. I am a Christian, but I don't expect anyone else to follow me there unless it is a choice they've also made. I talk about that, sometimes, and also about the struggles and questions I have.
This season in my life is being defined by authenticity and honesty. It has a lot to do with my relationship with God, but also my relationships with people in my life, online or off.
Beyond that, I'm a self proclaimed five year old. I am easily entertained, have a deep, deep appreciation for the little things in life. Coming back from a walk on the beach yesterday, my pocket was full of seaglass and smooth stones, and it made me absurdly happy. This is not unusual in the least. Other loves of mine include old things and antiques, people and places with a story, water and wind, dreams, and all number of things beyond. I'm also extremely fond of community, poems by Rilke, and tea.
Very, very fond of tea. >.>
And books. It's kind of a problem.
So that's me, in a nut shell. I don't write as much as I used to, but I'm working on that. I hold intelligent, well-rounded conversation with high regard, and love having an flist that reflects that. I'm always looking for more friends, though, so feel free to stop by!

you're very well-spoken (well-written?). but i guess that comes with being an english major.

Are you on the Why God Why? board these days?

I'm not on the board anymore, though I've followed the news a bit here and there. I jumped ship a few years back when it started to get ugly...was Tigress in those days, more recently LoneSeaBreakers, and now this :)

You seem quite lovely to be honest. What's your thoughts on giving this friends thing a shot? :P
