Quiet reading page is quiet

Name: You can call me Specter

Age: 36

I mostly post about: Mostly daily life, fandom musings, and random dumb thoughts that I think are worth writing down.

My hobbies are: Writing, art, journaling, video games, fandom (but very limited anymore), ghost hunting, herping

My fandoms are: I don't directly interact with fandom much anymore for a lot of reasons, but I do still enjoy fan spaces. But my main fandoms that show up in my journal the most are Kingdom Hearts and the Elder Scrolls (mostly Skyrim), but I have been really into the Legend of Zelda series lately, though I haven't really been talking about it, just passively enjoying it. I'm also really into music (not bandom, just the music itself), primarily industrial, goth and metal.

I'm looking to meet people who: Generally share some form of common interest.

My posting schedule tends to be: Incredibly sporadic; sometimes I'll post several times a day, sometimes a few times a week, and sometimes you might not see me for a month.

When I add people, my dealbreakers are: Mostly just antishippers and conservatives (trump supporters, homophobes, transphobes, nazis, etc.)

Before adding me, you should know: I have a sticky post that explains all of this.

If you haven't found the cookbook yet, I highly recommend it.

The Nord Spices are basically a warming-spice blend but with cardamom as the base instead of cinnamon. I added that bottle to my spice rack permanently. :D Take your favorite spice cookie and swap in Nord Spices. Also works in any recipe with cardamom as a dominant flavoring, like a pilaf or rice pudding.

The Pea Soup is epic. I think the Qwama Egg Quiche is the one with the rye crust; a bit fiddly to make, but beautiful and delicious. The Horker Loaf is good.

The Spiced Root Loaf is ... divisive. A friend wanted it done with parsnips for her birthday cake. Well, she loved it, and a few other folks liked it, but the rest of us hated it. Because if you make it with parsnips, it tastes like parsnips. So unless you're a huge fan of those, I suggest using carrots. The spice blend was actually good.

Hi there! You seem really interesting. I love insects, reptiles, and reading about paranormal encounters. I'm also pretty low maintenance and don't require a lot of attention, if that helps :D Wanna give it a try?

Hello! I also love paranormal stuff, Kingdom Hearts (not soooo much the latest games but KH2 had my entire heart), industrial & goth music (plus the sprinkling of top 40 and weeaboo stuff hahah, that made me lol). Friends?
