Since this place is active-ish right now...
Name: Logan. It's not my legal name, but it's what I use pretty much everywhere online.
Age: Old enough to have known a world without the web, not old enough to have known a world without calculators.
I mostly post about: a variety of stuff, ranging from books to films to politics to food to photos to the weather to generalised whinging. I use this as my primary platform for posting things, so there's quite a variety. 95% of my journal is public, so you'll get a good idea just by scrolling down the last couple of screens.
My hobbies are: I never find this one easy to answer. I mean, I like reading -- is that a hobby? I like taking photos when I go out somewhere -- is that? I like cricket, but I haven't played myself for years. Railways both old (steam) and new (I don't drive). Motorsport. Old telly. Some kinds of food. Oh, I don't know. Again, just read my journal.
My fandoms are: My Little Pony has been The Big Fandom for over a decade now, and it doesn't show signs of going away. I'm actually properly active in that fandom and write a reasonable amount of fanfic for it. Minor stuff I barely do more than consume... Miraculous Ladybug, furry (I used to be more active there, hence the anthro rabbit icon I use a lot), His Dark Materials, the Marcus Didius Falco books (Roman detective stories) and probably other stuff I can't now recall because my brain is getting old.
I'm looking to meet people who: I can talk to, or at least read, without getting the kind of feeling I do these days on Twitter. In other words, people who think for themselves and don't simply parrot whatever position their favoured political party/personality takes. Anywhere in the world is great, as long as you at least post mostly in English. I live in England, for what it's worth. This means some of my posts may surprise you if you're American, and probably vice versa!
My posting schedule tends to be: generally daily. Sometimes I'll post twice or miss a day, but daily is the average. Back in the LiveJournal days I often posted several times a day, though peak LJ was really busy so it didn't crowd out people's reading pages in the way it would here. I suppose I should add here that I comment reasonably often, but I'm not promising to "comment at least once a week" or the like.
My dealbreakers are: not a whole lot. Extreme politics (left and right) will do it. Idiotic conspiracy theories about vaccines will do it. Not respecting my LGBT friends' identities will do it. Trump cheerleading will probably do it. Putinism will do it, too. Just having different views or politics from mine won't. Please be aware that my liberal policy means that although I'm a centre-left Remain voter I will let people who are for example Tory voters or Leave supporters or police officers follow me. If you don't want to share my account with such people, please don't add me.
Before adding me, you should know: I take a relaxed attitude to adding and unfollowing. If you add me and later decide we haven't clicked, I'm absolutely fine with you just quietly unfollowing (and revoking access if that applies). I won't be offended and I won't chase after you to ask why. The reverse also applies, so please don't add me if you need people who don't follow back/who unfollow to give you a detailed explanation.
