I mostly post about: Fandom and my life. Right now, I'm currently deep in the trenches of Good Omens fandom, but I'll likely post about other fandoms too once my brain relaxes its hold on my current hyperfixation.

My hobbies are: Reading, Writing, Roleplaying, Space!, collecting dolls (new), collecting charms/pins for ita bags (fandom), etc.

My fandoms are: Good Omens, Homestuck, Harry Potter, Persona 5/Royal. These are the main ones (the ones I think about the most), but I'm into so much more than that. Some past fandoms include: Hannibal, Gravity Falls, Batman (surrounding the Joker), Deadpool, Marvel (Loki, or Thorki), Doctor Who, BTVS/Angel, MASS EFFECT, Dragon Age, Rick and Morty, Stargate: Atlantis, Sherlock, Supernatural, South Park, and Star Trek.

I'm looking to meet people who: are happy to talk about fandom. We don't have to have fandoms in common in order to be friends, we just have to post regularly and comment on each other's posts occasionally. Have conversations.

My posting schedule tends to be: every few days, usually. I don't always have something to say, so sometimes I write recs or fics instead of post whatever is going on in my personal life.

When I add people, my dealbreakers are: no bigotry! I don't tolerate harassment of any kind for any reason. No minors!

Before adding me, you should know: I sometimes write or recommend Dead Dove content.

Hi! It was your mention of Good Omens that lured me in. ;) Season 1 made me a casual fan; after season 2 it went from a minor fandom to major for me. I wasn't expecting that! I also like Doctor Who and Sherlock (although less into the fandom side and came into DW through Torchwood), and am a long-time Star Trek fan (mostly TOS, AOS, and Discovery).

I usually post a couple of times a week, but it mostly depends on my work schedule. This summer I've had a lot of overtime. The OT has been cut way back now, but ironically I haven't been posting much because of my current obsession with Good Omens. I've been spending most of my time watching fanvids on YouTube, working on fic, and rewatching. I don't hang out on any other social media spaces, so I've been reading and commenting on YT posts (and the few I see here). I'm satisfied with that, as I have no interest in hateful, negative spaces. The stuff I keep hearing about those other sites keeps me away.

I'm a fandom old, and I post mainly about fandom things, less often about personal life. Most of my journal is open, sometimes I will F-lock the stuff about my personal life, sometimes not.

I have no problem with Dead Dove content. If I don't care for the themes, I don't read, simple as that. I'm also firmly in the YKINMK and that's ok camp.

That's precisely what happened to me with Good Omens. I read the book when I was a teenager, and I sometimes read fic for it throughout the years -- usually Supernatural crossovers, but it wasn't until season 2 came out that my obsession shot wildly out of control into a full-blown hyperfixation.

Oh nice!! We have a lot of things in common. I'll admit, though, I'm not caught up on Doctor Who... I left off with Twelve, and I never finished that. I really ought to go back because I love Doctor Who. I also watched Torchwood a looooong time ago (like a decade), and that was great too. Sherlock is great, I love it, and I'm a huge fan of Star Trek: TOS and TNG.

That's so fair! You absolutely don't need to be constantly active. I know I also spend most of my spare time indulging in GO fandom. Right now, I'm reading a lot of fic. Also, have you seen this absolutely awesome Youtube Animatic? I would be interested in talking to you about Good Omens and what you're working on, watching, reading, etc. I'd be up for Discord if you're down with that, but if you'd prefer to keep it just to DW, I'd be down for that too.

I'm also a fandom old, or at least I consider myself as such since I turn 35 this month. Absolutely understandable that you f-lock more personal posts. I do the same, really, but I tend to not post super personal stuff in general, so I grant access to everyone I think I neat.

I've never read the book, but I plan to read it asap.

I'm not one of those fans who's seen all the eps of Who; mostly ended up putting them on during the yearly marathons they used to have (which I really enjoyed). I've seen almost all of Thirteen's eps. Truthfully, I probably won't be watching any longer, though, since I don't have and can't afford to pay for Disney (nothing on it interests me enough to make room for it by getting rid of one of the ones I have for it). These days I'm more of a Ianto Jones fan than a Torchwood fan. He's my favorite character, ever. I really enjoyed Sherlock, but it was one of those shows that I never got really involved in fandom-wise. My benchmark is usually whether I write fic or not, since writing is the main way I participate in fandom. I always love having discussions but sadly that it so much a lost art these days.

I'm not on Discord yet, although I've thought about it I haven't yet made up my mind.

It's amazing. If you like audiobooks, Audible has Good Omens with a fully voiced cast -- Michael Sheen, David Tennant, and a whole bunch of others. I've been listening to it lately and it's great.

That's so fair. I don't have Disney right now either, but that's just because I rarely watch anything consistently. I binge or I don't, that's it. I should catch up with Doctor Who eventually, though, but admittedly Nine and Ten were my favorite Doctors. ♥ Really? Ianto Jones is your all-time favorite character? That's quite the statement! I remember him vaguely, but I'd have to rewatch Torchwood to get a better sense of him. My all-time favorite character is... well, I'm not sure, potentially a few people. Goro Akechi, Severus Snape, or perhaps Bro Strider... It's hard to chose!

Oh, interesting. I consider fandom completely differently. I base it on how much it lives rent-free in my head and for how long. So, for example, Harry Potter has been a special interest for 20+ years now. I, regrettably, even have tattoos (damn you J.K. Rowling for ruining everything). I only started writing fic again in 2020, so I went a very long time without. I just roleplayed instead of fic... I'm still figuring out how it all works, honestly. I wrote fic as a teenager, then I stopped for like 15+ years, lol.

I'm partial to Ten, love Thirteen, and enjoyed Eleven a lot. Ianto had so much more to him than met the eye. He was snarky, and gorgeous. He loved with his whole being and would do anything for the one he loved. And he was the character a lot of us related to. Sorry, just mention his name and I'm likely to get carried away. Yes, definitely, to shows living in my head. I never completely leave any of my favs, but some stay at the forefront more than others. I'm just at the beginning with Good Omens, so time will tell how important it becomes in my personal fannish history.

I haven't seen Good Omens S2 yet (but I like spoilers XD)! I read the book back in the day and loved S1. We have a lot in common in a general fandom sense, though -- I was obsessed with Harry Potter for years, love Gravity Falls and Batman (esp. the Joker, and I love writing Jason Todd), Loki/Thorki, had a huge Doctor Who phase, adore Rick and Morty and SGA, love Holmes/Watson, love the South Park fandom, and right now Star Trek is my big thing, especially TNG (if I had to rank the series it would be TNG first, then TOS, then DS9 ... really they're all good, but those are the three that I really vibe with the most). For Star Trek my main pairings are Spock/Bones, Kirk/Spock, and lately, Riker/Anyone XD

For my blog, I post a lot of zine and book reviews and daily life updates. I highkey love Dead Dove content XD

I really need to rewatch Torchwood, I remember liking it. Ianto was a good character, though, I know he was one of my favorites. He's quite funny.

Exactly that! I'm hoping Good Omens becomes the next big thing in my fandom history. Especially since I've bought a lot of charms and pins for it recently for my ita bag. It spent a decent chunk of money on it, so I want to love it for a long time to come. ♥

Holy shit, but we do have a lot of things in common, don't we? I love that. What were your ships for Harry Potter? I'm surprised you loved SGA, too. Most people don't even know it exists, though I adore it. Even have a ring for it that I wear every day. What were your South Park ships? 👀 Star Trek was a big fandom for me back in 2009 when the Star Trek reboot movie came out. I was obsessed with Kirk/Spock, loved it so much. It got me into TOS, which I also adored. I love all incarnations of them. TNG was good too, but I never shipped anything from it.

Ooh, let's see -- so for HP, I was a sucker for Snape, but I struggled with who to ship him with. I read a lot of Snarry when I was in middle school XD But as I got older, I liked pretty much every ship, and HP is so big that you can find amazing high-quality fanfics for every pairing -- I especially like anything with Hermione or Lucius, Drarry is always fun, HP femslash pairings are usually good, and I used to obsessively read Wolfstar AUs too.

For South Park, Kenny is my fave, so I'll read anything with him in it, and I also like Cartman/Kyle. I think I've only ever written one South Park fic, and iirc it was Kenny/Butters. For HP I've written 12 or so, but they don't necessarily reflect my shipping interests XD I remember writing Hermione/McGonagall, Hermione/Pansy, Ginny/Fleur, Lucius/Dobby (listen...), Narcissa/Draco, Lucius/Voldemort... I don't think I've ever written anything with Snape in it as an adult, though, and I've never published any Wolfstar haha. What about you?

Snape! He was always my favorite as well. I loved him since I was a preteen and that's not really changed since. I definitely ship him with Harry, mostly, but I'll ship him with just about anyone he has an interesting dynamic with. You're right, though, there's tons of great fic out there for pretty much any ship imaginable. Drarry is also great, and recently I've gotten into Snape/Hermione -- I'm in a few dead servers for that. There's so much good content out there!

South Park is great. Kenny is one of my all-time favorites as well. He's got so much angst potential. I also love Tweek and Butters. I like Kenny/Butters and Craig/Tweek a lot, plus Kyle/Cartman! It's good shit! ♥ Wow, it sounds like you've written a lot more than I have, haha.

I went a long time without writing fic, though, and only in 2020 did I start writing fic again. It's been mostly smut up until that point, but with my recent failure of a Good Omens fic, I've realizes that I've been using smut as a crutch and I don't need to put porn in everything I write, lol. I've recently written two Snarry fic though, one that's fairly popular and one that's less so because it doesn't have a plot.

The Good Omens fandom is absolutely delightful. I'm impressed that you're working your way through the rest of his books. Have you read Amercian Gods yet? I rather enjoyed that one! It was neat. I can't wait to see what the rest of the Good Omens fandom produces, especially in the wake of season two. It's gonna be brilliant!

I'm reading American Gods right now, actually. It's a bit of a slog, it's taking a lot of reading and I'm struggling with some of the characters, but I'm mostly enjoying it. And then I'll watch the TV show because I'm curious to see how it translates onto screen as well

It's a bit rambling, but that's the Terry Pratchett part of it. I love it regardless. If you're having a hard time with it, maybe look into the audiobook version? They have one that's fully voice acted with a full cast here. That's what I've been doing, it's very enjoyable that way. The TV Show is good, but my favorite season is two. It's the one that suckered me in and made it a full on hyperfixation!
