Hello there. I used to use this site many years ago and have decided to return.

I mostly post about: My life and thoughts. I missed the interactive nature of social blogging, so it'll mostly be ramblings about what is going on with me.

My hobbies are: Traveling, concerts, crafting (cross-stitch, needle felting, basically any fiber crafts), baking, writing, reading, gardening, collecting Hello Kitty and Friends, conventions, antiquing.

My fandoms are: I've been a kpop fan since 2004, and still follow a variety of groups. Anime wise its Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Tokyo Ghoul, Trigun (OG and Stampede), Card Captor Sakura, Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, etc. Aforementioned huge fan of Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters.

I'm looking to meet people who: Are interesting, insightful, kind, funny. I don't expect much, just maybe getting to interact with some genuinely cool folks.

My posting schedule tends to be: Sporadic, basically when the mood strikes.

When I add people, my dealbreakers are: I'm a bisexual leftist with a big mouth, so if any aspect of that goes against your belief system we ain't gettin' along. So the usual; racism, sexism, trans/homophobia, conservatism. I just generally enjoy open-minded, loving sorts of people.

Before adding me, you should know: I'm a 30something woman with no children, in a long-term relationship, and try to cultivate a life of romance in the classical sense. I am still reeling from the life shifts that occurred during the pandemic and a few personal losses including 2 major deaths in 2021. I might rant about grief, getting older, and trying to find my footing as I re-adjust to my life.

You have some interests in anime that I like, Cowboy BeBop, Samurai Champloo, and Trigun, though I don't write about them much. I'm a 61 year old librarian in New York City, divorced, with an adult daughter, live alone except for my cat and turtle, and mostly have a pretty boring life, but I write every day so you always have something to read. Sounds pretty interesting to me :) I always thought of becoming a librarian, I have a degree in English and I still think about going to grad school. Also my partner is from Brooklyn and I've spent a lot of time in nyc! I'll add you :)

And I am not just saying this because I saw some interests we have in common :), like anime & j-rock (Which bands do you like in this regard, if I may ask?). Aw thanks, seems we do have much in common! I was a big VK fan back in the early 2000's so I still love the gazette, dir en grey, miyavi, kagrra, girugamesh, and a bunch of others. Of more recent bands I like Dexcore, A crowd of rebellion, man with a mission, and Kizu.

*___* I don't know that many songs by kagrra, but those I listened to I really like. Dir en grey, however, I know a bit more of... At least their "older" stuff. (God, this sounds like I am talking about wine here. :P)

I really loved Malice Mizer, Psycho le Cému, and D'espairsRay. I also still adore Közi's projects in all their variety [not just his solo project].

Hello! We have a lot in common! I'm also a 30 something woman with no children (and no plans to have any) in an LTR. That's around the same time I got into kpop and although I don't really follow many of the newer groups, I have sooooo many fond memories of those days and the travelling I got to do for concerts and the people I met. AND THE ABSOLUTE BANGERS WHICH I STILL LISTEN TO TODAY

You wrote quite a few things here that resonate with me...especially the bisexual (well in my case it's pansexual but close enough ;)) leftist thing since that's what I am too. I also try to be as open-minded as I can, even if I have a lot to learn still.
