Real life, day to day living kind of stuff. Mostly that will be gardening, hiking with my elderly dog, and maybe stories from work (I am an infant-toddler nanny), random thoughts and feelings in the moment. Possibly fandom stuff, but I'm not too into that these days. I do deal with anxiety and depression so will occasionally talk about that.

My hobbies are:

Hiking, travel, gardening (veggies and flowers), reading (mostly fantasy), board games, occasional deep dives into video games, and trying craft experiments.

My fandoms are:

I'm not really much a fandom person these days, but past fandoms included X-Men (mostly 90's era comics), SGA, Teen Wolf, Leverage, White Collar, The Witcher, MCU (I'm still a pretty hardcore Steve and Bucky fan even if I'm not really "in" the fandom).

I'm looking to meet people who:

Just looking to connect with new folks. I find other people interesting in general, so it's not necessarily that we need to match up in all interests. I would prefer people who comment and reply, as I'm trying to get better at interacting in that myself and it helps to have people who do the same.

My posting schedule tends to be: daily/weekly/monthly/sporadic/etc

Sporadic at the moment. Could be daily, could go a week without posting. I'm trying to get back into regularly scheduled writing, but it's a work in progress. Way back when I was super active on LJ but it's been years and I'm out of practice!

Before adding me, you should know: My mother recently passed away due to ALS and while I don't post about it at the moment I can see that down the road of grief I will begin to talk about it more. I totally understand if that's a topic you don't want to read about, so heads up it's probably coming. Also sarcasm and humor (including dark humor) is how I deal with a lot of stuff.

I have a "every day is friending/unfriending" type of mindset. Come on over and see what I'm about, if it doesn't click with you go ahead and unsubscribe/friend/etc with no hard feelings!

All of these for me, too! I'm a parent of a 5 y/o so I guess I post kid stories, too :)

My dad passed away just over a year ago now, and yeah. I'm still processing, and it's still hard. So sorry for your loss.
