I mostly post about: i have previously used this journal to write fiction meta and criticism too long or controversial for twitter, but i feel now that's a reductive way of using this platform. i suspect there will be a decent amount of art updates, discussions about fiction, etc. there will probably be some personal posts, but generally through the lens of my relationship to fiction and fandom.
My hobbies are: writing and art primarily! i'm currently working on an original erotica novel as well as a couple of fan comics, all tremendously self-indulgent. i like to read and game. i'm learning to code (JS and Python) right now.
My fandoms are: ryu ga gotoku/yakuza, the venture bros, dc/batman (hugo strange is truly my everything.), psychonauts, metalocalypse, the boys, yu-gi-oh!, the incredibles, team fortress 2. a bunch of others i have forgotten, but generally i like crime and spy thrillers, superhero stuff and dark comedies, especially with heavy homoeroticism. i'm currently working through the metal gear series.
I'm looking to meet people who:
share fandoms and tastes in fiction (i'm including fictional kinks alongside more general tropes - i don't wish to go into much detail as i'm not sure how much is permitted on here, so please just take a look at my page!). i like whump, dead dove and nsfw stuff a lot.
post interesting things about art, fiction and fandom
enjoy self-indulgence in fandom without shame, such as self-shipping, canon/OC etc. i am personally a self-shipper with a self-insert character i drop into many universes, and i write 'x reader'/second-person fics alongside regular ship fics.
My posting schedule tends to be: sporadic currently, but i'm hoping to get back into it. i'll probably post maybe once a fortnight.
When I add people, my dealbreakers are: anyone under 18. right-wingers. queer exclusionists. anyone judgmental about fiction, tastes in fiction, the craft of fiction (and art more generally), etc. anyone who is territorial about characters they don't own themselves.
