'Ello 'ello.
Name: Arwen
Age: 21+
I mostly post about: media I've consumed and has consumed me, non-very-personal random life bits, either joy or angst (or both) about writing (or writer's block), various creative pursuits, my animals, my studies, and music I recommended, because mp3 sharing never died, dammit. Spotify whatify?
My hobbies are: amigurumi/crochet, collecting/customising Pullips and other Asian fashion dolls/BJDs, sashiko/kogin, calligraphy, singing, writing, linguistics, onomastics, journalling, cosmetics, tarot and general cartomancy, learning languages, attempting to learn to draw, making static websites, being highly critical of Web 1.0 nostalgia, and coffee. (What do you mean, that's not a hobby?)
My fandoms are: Tolkien's Legendarium (Middle-earth mythos) in general is the sempiternal love I always return to no matter what (I'm that one hapless nerd who taught herself elvish just for kicks and giggles, also I love The Rings of Power); currently also digging Good Omens, Our Flag Means Death, the Aubrey/Maturin series, and the Temeraire series. Kind of always on a low-key Manic Street Preachers kick, as well, if bandom counts? ♫
I'm looking to meet people who: are into similar fandoms or have similar interests, want to share music, want to rec good fantasy reads, or just want to make more friends. I was having the time of my life on Twitter in the Rings of Power fandom until the Muskpocalypse happened, so I do miss that dreadfully.
My posting schedule tends to be: ...erratic, honestly? Sometimes I'll post daily, sometimes there'll be week-long gaps. It depends on various factors (offline life, studies, health, Australian internet being a giant ball of fail, how much something has eaten my brain, so on so forth).
When I add people, my dealbreakers are: classists, racists, ableists, abuse apologists, fascists, TERFs, those who break friends-lock for any reason, and people who don't have the sensibility to scroll past fandom pairings they don't like instead of causing a massive fuss.
Before adding me, you should know: I have a couple of disabilities/chronic illnesses that effect my quality of life -- I may or may not go into details about them on friends-locked posts -- but don't effect my quality as a person or friend. And I'm horrifically shy, but trying to get past it. Your kindness is deeply appreciated. ♥ (Also, I'm in Australia, so I'm 10+ ahead of GMT, hence keeping what seems like weird hours. I live in the FUTURE! :D It looks pretty good from here...)
And I am of the firm belief that yes, pineapple does belong on pizza.

I'm over 40, queer, trans [he/him], disabled, autistic, owned by cats. Socially awkward introvert, trying to come out of my shell and people more. I curse like a sailor but if you're OK with that...
I love Tolkien a normal amount - I haven't watched Rings of Power but I don't judge people who do [I know people can get gatekeep-y about it].
I also like pineapple on pizza.
I'm American but keep weird hours [non-24 sleep disorder].
If you would like to add me, feel free, if not no hard feelings and have a lovely holiday season if you celebrate anything.

I have... a lot of Maglor fic. A lot. You're not under any obligation to read it [a lot of it is porn, putting it bluntly], though there's some crack, like one of my current WIPs which I'm trying to wind down before the holidays has him doing OnlyFans. This is what I do with my life. Yes.

Quenya or Sindarin? It's been a long time since I was in the fandom, but people are still circulating an essay I wrote about Sindarin almost 20 years ago.

Oh, excellent Galadriel icon! I love Rings of Power (and the Legendarium in general), though I don't post here much. Just wanted to let you know you seem very cool.
