I couldn't stop smiling while reading your post! I, too, adore the Regency, from articles about the time, to silver fork novels (Theodore Hook, Edward Bullwer-Lytton), to memoirs and biographies, (Captain Jesse, Ian Kelly, Captain Gronow, Harriette Wilson), to poetry, to all sorts of anecdotes about the clubs of London, the various wits, and since it is my great love in life, all things having to do with dandies, particularly Beau Brummell. In fact, the name I use here and elsewhere is Georgiana Brummell! I am also a snuff taker, and lover of Upper Received pronunciation, nineteenth century grammar (I wish to adopt it permanently), and the upper class in general.
