INTERESTS & HOBBIES: My interests can seem fairly varied as I find people, culture, and society in general fascinating. Whatever specific thing I might be interested in at a particular time can vary though. I'm a data science student (retraining, my background is psych and anthro) and am also interested in maths, stats, and data stuff more generally, especially where that intersects with my other interests. For hobbies I enjoy crafts like knitting and crochet (though I'm very much a beginner), reading, and gaming (video games and D&D). I love sci fi and fantasy in most forms.

LOOKING FOR: I really don't know. People who write about their lives and maybe share some similar interests. Just coming out of a 100+ day lockdown that I spent with little adult contact and looking to connect with people.

ANYTHING ELSE?:I'm queer, pan, nonbinary, demi, and kinky. Please no TERFs, racists, ableists or bigots of any stripe.

I also went through a fairly traumatic break-up recently and am struggling with ED. I don't currently have any active journals on my friends list, so haven't been filtering or using cuts as much as I otherwise would, but I tried to go through and filter out the more depressing entries before posting here.

May or may not be autistic. I'm currently getting assessed but it's a process that won't be finished until late Feb probably. I also have depression and anxiety that can be more or less severe depending.

I'm adopted, Māori/Pākehā, and sometimes talk about that and the subsequent feelings of disconnection from my heritage and or birth whānau.

Shy and socially awkward, and I do talk about that a bit while trying to process social experiences.

Realising there are maybe not a lot of selling points here!

There may be more "selling points" here than you recognize. Also, I think that whether or not I'd be a good fit for your own friendlist, there may be people on mine who might be better company than me.
