  I’m trying to get back into ‘journaling’, but the reason I stopped (people leaving LJ and DW for Tumblr) remains, so… trying to meet more people!

I miss talking about ships, or recent episodes, recommending people stuff… that sort of thing that we used to do in LJ communities, you know?

I should be into actual ships, it'd be way more interesting! but I'm just a huge homebody who watches a ton of tv (in my defense, I'll say that my hometown is aggressively dull).

Oh, that's completely ok! that's part of the appeal of these types of blogs, right? (or it's to me, the very socially anxious/awkward), that you just post whatever from the deeply personal to the fannish to the professional and the people in your circle can come around and interact at different levels or their own pace or whatever. Not sure if I explained it well, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Looks like we share quite a few tv and book fandoms! I don't always post fandom stuff - in fact, over a long enough period of time there's nothing that I'm guaranteed to post about, I switch around a lot. Currently doing quite a bit of book reccing along with daily life etc, although most of it behind lock for similar reasons to what you stated.

Me, I don't have a regular posting schedule, or themes or anything of the sort! But I figure we all use these as we can or need to at any given moment, and also that people can interact in the way that's comfortable for them, you know? no pressure.

What Sims game do you play? I play mainly the Sims 2 and 4 but occasionally will play the Sims 3. I ship Mulder and Scully from the X-Files, loved the OC when it was on. Seth and Summer were great eh? I love Marianas Trench. I love their song "Desperate Measures."

Sims 2! I haven't in a while because it was in my old computer (which gave up the ghost a while back; no surprise, it was about to be 13 years old!) and I haven't installed it here yet. I can spend hours just building the house, it's so entertaining!

Aww, Seth and Summer <3 Those old school ships were just fantastic, so many iconic scenes.
