INTERESTS & HOBBIES: Woolly arts and crafts (knitting, spinning, etc.), embroidery, patchwork sewing, cooking, playing with my toddler, cottage witchcraft/paganism, mythic imagination, gardening, hiking in countryside/woodlands, traveling, living abroad (I’m an American who has emigrated to the UK), gaming (primarily LARP and table top RPG).
LOOKING FOR: Journals reflecting on daily life, any of the topics I mentioned above, etc.
ANYTHING ELSE?: I’m currently doing a “365 post/365 days” challenge, so I’m daily active. If you want to know a bit more, my journal is public and I have an “about me” pinned to the top.
ALSO KNOWN AS: I like the cosiness of DW—I don’t post to much else on the ‘net.

I had a lot of friends in the SCA in the States, there’s a lot of cross-over with the LARP community!

I didn’t think there was an SCA in the UK, but apparently a friend of mine (also from NA who moved over here) recently became King of Iceland, Ireland, and the UK through trial by combat.

Maybe I should ask him more about it since hey, I’m friends with the King ;)

Life totally happens. I have gone on multi-year breaks, although I’m trying to focus my inherit human need to say “hi world, I exist” on DW now. It’s smaller and feels safer.

We’re currently up in the air for relocation (still in the UK, probably), once that’s done and I know where I’m actually living I will look into nearby groups ^_^
