FYI-I'm terrible at these About Me things >_< 

 

I've always had a lot of interests. I loved to write back when I was in high school. I spent a lot of my time either writing, reading, drawing or watching anime. Fast forward 13 years oh my god *cries* and I've fallen out of touch with just about all of those things. Life just sort of got in the way. I'm trying really hard to get back in touch with my hobbies and interests now that my life is more settled. 

A few other random things that I like (in no particular order): greek mythology, renaissance faires, working out, Japanese, bohemian style, lgbt media(f/f), petting puppies, exploring cities for the first time, tea, candles, stationary...there are so many others :D 
 

Since writing was my favorite hobby (I miss it so much T_T) I decided that it would be best for me to start journaling again. I had a live journal for I think 3 years? I think from around 2007 to maybe 2010 or 2011. That's when life got too busy to do the things that I loved, so journaling also just sort of stopped. LJ eventually became deserted and I just never got a feel for Tumblr. I guess I was just too late to the party.

Hmmm...What else do I talk about? 

 

Looking for:

 

I'm starved for looking for interactions that don't involve like buttons or snap chat filters. I can't be the only person who needs an escape from it all once in a while. Right? ._. I want to connect with people who have common interests.
 

Anything Else?

In my journal I'll mostly talk about the interests that I listed above. I'm on this whole journey to reconnect with myself and to connect with other people so it'll just be me rambling on about that stuff.

I don't follow any fandoms. Sorry!

Hi Yume! I never really got a feel for Tumblr either. I generally write about my day... which usually just involves me saying what f/f book I've just finished. I'm glad you're making the efffort to reconnect with the things that you love!

Hi, I don't follow fandoms either; mostly looking for interactions with people/things to read. Not sure if you want someone that doesn't follow hard a lot of particular things you mentioned, but I read your content and I think I'd enjoy reading stream of consciousness posts if you're okay with that.

I doubt I'm the only one either, so even if I'm not your thing, I'm sure you'll find plenty o' people willing to add you here. :)

Sounds like we have a lot in common! I love Greek mythology and Renaissance history too, as well as LGBT media, anime, exploring cities... and who can resist good stationary?

I agree with you about preferring the deeper connections from journalling to the like buttons and filters.

hey, i love your posts so far. i don't think your flair for writing is as lost as you thought. i joined dreamwidth to get a break from other social media even though i still use it to talk into the void. i'd love to add you even though i mostly just talk about my mundane life, feelings, games and sometimes anime.
