about me: I'm new, joined on impulse after seeing a post on tumblr about this site/how to use it. no idea what I will do with my own blog on here.
I'm not into any books or TV/movies. also not on the shipping train at all.

interests: uh, like, a bajillion video games/series. and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. that's about it.
currently playing a heckton of Old School RuneScape, and little else. seeking a skilling buddy! though not expecting to find one here.
other games I've played(most are still unfinished) over this year include Darkest Dungeon, Miitopia, Pokemon Ultra Sun, WarioWare Gold, Tingle's Balloon Trip of Love, World of Goo, Jazzpunk, Cuphead.
games/series I haven't played myself but have an interest in... I'll just leave the current 2, Danganronpa and Splatoon.

looking for: pals to talk to about video games, helps if we have similar tastes. if you know any of what I've played over the year, then we'll be good.

anything else?: not interested in talking to minors. I am mentally ill, and due to that, I can be slow when it comes to talking to new people.

Our interests don't overlap, but I do know about blogging. The idea is to find other folks who like similar things as you, and some with different interests that are fun contrasts. But the topics can be whatever you want. Plenty of people blog about video games.

Many bloggers find it helpful to set posts that repeat on a given topic. Monday or Friday general updates are popular. Some people do book reviews. I do a general update on Mondays and various social posts on Wednesdays and Thursdays. You might set a day of the week to talk about your gaming exploits or review new games.

hmm. well, thanks for the pointers. I'm indecisive, and not much good with structure, so who knows what my blog might end up being.

It's also totally okay to write whatever pops into your mind. The scheduled posts just remind people to write something often enough to keep people reading.

Welcome! I struggle with what to blog sometimes, too, and I've been on DW for years now. So, you're in good company. ysabetwordsmiths is right, though. A lot of people have a day they do a thing. A popular one I've seen is "What are You Reading? Wednesday" which I participate in very irregularly.

At any rate, welcome! I do hope you find a way to stay and be comfortable.

no, I have an old smartphone that serves as an mp3 player and little else. desktop only for me.
but yay a fellow OSRS player :) wouldn't have expected to find one. haha
