age: 35. I now have to do quick math to figure out the ones digit. Happened sooner than I expected!

books: ALL THE BOOKS. Currently re-reading some mysteries by Donna Andrews, just finished the Murderbot novellas, just finished the Dark Eden trilogy, and will likely re-read The Dispossessed soon, as I do yearly.
shows: Rewatching Gargoyles, considering a rewatch of Galavant. Love Steven Universe and iZombie. Most of my favorite shows stop being my favorite around the third season.
movies: I don't watch many movies. I have a real love for Zenon, Girl of the 21st Century, though. Also Megamind. Oh, and Lilo and Stitch, because who doesn't love Lilo and Stitch?
video games: Mario RPG.
topic of your choice (artist, animals, etc.): I've always been a fan of etymology. Also, cats. Like Ayn Rand, I believe that cats are objectively valuable. (This is almost the only thing I agree with Ayn Rand on.)

i post about: Lots of link lists (lots of news and politics) but recently they're shoved behind a cut because, let's face it, everything is awful. My view of the word is rather liberal flavored.
i rarely post about: Fandom stuff, interestingly enough - though I will never not like to mock silly Amazon reviews.
post frequency: Every day-ish.

your favorite dw communities: It's not a community, but I do like pollventures. It's comm-esque. Also, I certainly enjoy thefridayfive and reading the responses to questionoftheday. I also post prompts at dailyprompt.

etymology, cats, and Murderbot? i'm in. i am a long-time Martha Wells fan and am so happy she's starting to get more widely recognized. i am not, however, a person who participates in fandoms or writes about much of anything except what's going on in my life, and poetry.
