AGE: Early 20s

INTERESTS & HOBBIES: Reading, video games, the age of sail (and specifically golden age pirates), classical antiquity, lore (of both the Elder Scrolls and Doctrine of Labyrinths variety), ranting, pets and other cute animals, bullet journaling, and most of all, sleeping.

ANYTHING ELSE?: I'm a bisexual, biracial, cis female undergrad at a large public university, pursuing an English major and a variety of minors (currently trying to pick from gender studies, communication, classics, and psychology). I recently picked up yoga, which has been doing wonders for my overall wellbeing. I'm slowly getting better at conquering my social anxiety. I have two dogs (a Siberian husky named Grif (short for Gryphon) and an Alaskan malamute named Khan (short for Genghis)), though I never get to see them as my hometown is a good four hours away from my current residence on campus. I also entertain a variety of virtual cats in Neko Atsume. I ~~waste~~ spend a lot of my time on plant simulation games.

My journal is relatively new, and will mostly consist of everyday happenings in my life, as well as my opinions and thoughts about various things that catch my interest. There will also probably be a little media blogging as I read/watch/play new things. Entries that discuss real people in my life will be access locked for privacy, but I think everything else will be public.

Hi! I think we may have a couple of things in common :) especially the interest in sleeping, haha. Oh, and you have two dogs? I bet you miss them a lot. I'm currently trying to decide whether to get one myself in the near future.

Hey there! I miss my dogs more than the world. And they miss me too; my sister says they spend a lot of time moping around in my old bedroom, the poor dears. If you have the time/energy needed to properly walk them and take care of them, I can't recommend getting a dog enough. They greatly improved my quality of life while I was living at home.

Wanna give mutual subscriptions (and maybe access?) a try? I do a lot of writing about whatever I'm reading/watching too and I'm always game to read other people's own media blogging even if they're in different fandoms—it's a way for me to find new ones too XD

I'm a bit late to your post but I added you! You seem like you have a lot of great interests :) Your dogs sound amazing too! I took a peek at your recent post, that's cool that you're doing yoga through youtube! I have always wanted to give yoga a try, but am just overwhelmingly nervous about it. Maybe if I try it out through youtube it will be easier :)

Hi, and thanks for the add! As someone with social anxiety, the thought of yoga classes is pretty daunting to me, so I totally understand the nervousness. Not to mention they're so expensive. I can't recommend Yoga With Adriene enough, especially the current series she's doing, Yoga Camp, which sounds really intense and hard but is actually the total opposite. She designed it so that it starts out super easy on Day 1 and progressively gets more and more challenging (but still doable for beginners, as she provides lots of alternatives to the more intense poses), so it's perfect for those just starting out (like myself!).
