It's been a while...
...since I posted in this community.
I'm an Englishman in California, married, Christian.
I enjoy writing fiction, drawing and painting, writing and recording my songs, watching films, talking to our cat (as a good man should).
Music: a lot of classic blues by sterling chaps like Muddy Waters, Hound Dog Taylor, Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, Johnny Winter, S R Vaughan, B B King, Buddy Guy, etc. Classic rock, I suppose, by Led Zep, Beatles, AC/DC, etc and classic prog by Henry Cow, Pink Floyd, Tangerine Dream. Also I love Gong, Steve Hillage, Foo Fighters, Radiohead, Node, Redshift, ZZ Top and more. I don't care for most Christian music: it's bland.
Films: pretty much anything containing Harrison Ford, romantic comedies, action/adventure, period dramas. But horror films creep the heck out of me, as do musicals (~shudder~), with the honourable exception of the sublime A Hard Day's Night and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Books: the bible, anything by Spike Milligan, Tom Clancy, P G Wodehouse, some of the Chap books.
I don't post on this site as often as I used to, and usually my entries are friends-only, but there's a smattering of public burblings on there if you are curious. I will say that I do tend to rant about this and that, but mostly I post bewildered waffle and wry anecdotes.
I'm not picky about my correspondents here. You don't have to be a Christian, but argumentative or mean-spirited nitwits and drama queens/kings will awaken one morning to find that I have dropped off their friends lists.
