Hello, all!
Hello, everybody!
I'm Perhin, and if you gain access to my flist, you might see my real name. ;) I prefer privacy, as I have had many journal accounts on various sites(LJ, anyone?) and being public with all my issues is not my thing.
Now to the real intro!
I'm a geekette, into Japanese things, love Neverwinter Nights type RPGs(solo playing only; hate other people....do I seem anti-social already?) and The Sims 2 and hopefully 3 and 4(whenever I get to own them; I'm very behind...).
I love Tolkien and Rowling, which usually seem to go hand-in-hand with fantasy dorks, because you get both your high and low fantasy. I'm almost 24 years old and somehow or another, I ended up liking '80s and '90s and very early 2000s music. I mostly hate anything current, can't you tell?
I'm also a Nintendo fan, even though, in a fit of psychotic confusion(I really do have psychosis! :D ... o_O) I ditched all my gaming things except the NIntendo DS, which now only have seven games with it when I originally had 35. D: I'm now saving up to buy things back on Amazon. :) Legend of Zelda and Soul Calibur II are big favs of mine. I love anything Zelda, and I also have a thing for Yoshi.
A NOTE: do not friend me because I have mental illnesses(I know I only named one, but there are many). I like to run away from that as far as possible. And hearing other people bitch to me in conversation about our illnesses as if it were a competition, makes triggers for me that I do not enjoy.
Friend me because you find my ramblings interesting, odd, and/or funny. Friend me because you find the magazine Wired's flowcharts amusing and helpful. Friend me because you think a gnab gib is the opposite of a big bang and that a talking cow offering you steak off its own body sounds like a promising meal. And friend me if you even got those Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy jokes...I am the only one in 50 miles probably who knows who Douglas Adams was! D: I live in a small town with a horrible library that's nothing but an older ladies' club, and I'll be damned if I have to pass by more Danielle Steel and home&garden books perusing the shelves!
