Kryptonite: amazingly, I only fear sharp objects pointed at my forehead. Only my forehead. Cheek? No problem. Feet? Meh. Forehead? I’m a puddle of fear and regret in the ground. Regret because everyone thinks that it's funny to try after I tell them.
Story: I was born in 1989. And I’m still here.
Interests: when I’m not trying to save myself from embarrassment (which is most of the time) I enjoy books (‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ and ‘Lord of the Rings’), movies (‘The Fountain’), TV shows ('House', 'Bones', and more), web series (‘Dr Horrible’ and ‘The Guild’!) and having epic soundtracks in my head for days and days (LoTR Complete Recordings are ♥). I also enjoy staring at the empty space pretending to be thoughtful and storing vast amounts of useless information in my computer.
So, if you have read this and
a) You don’t think that insanity is a bad thing,

Look, even if you and I mutually decide we aren't journal-BFF material - and who knows, I'm a bit of a curmudgeon and rant a lot about gender stereotypes and transphobia and such, which is off-putting to some people (or so I've heard), and I don't like the TV series' you like (although I've read and watched LoTR and plan on watching The Fountain one day), and there's nothing wrong with 1989, even though the Top Ten from that year was pretty miserable and already segueing into the music that would haunt us during the 90s... where was I? Oh, yes: even if you and I mutually decide we aren't journal-BFF material, getting to read your ad was totally worth it.

And you really should watch The Fountain. Even if you end up not liking the movie, the soundtrack is really amazing.

What made me curious about the movie was its visuals - I'm a sucker for gorgeous or dream-like imagery, for example this one. Or movies like The Cell, and Hellboy II (with its Angel of Death). If the soundtrack's just as gorgeous, that's even better!
