Hi! I'm not new to Dreamwidth but I did recently create a new journal so I'm seeking new friends. I post mostly about environmental and green living topics, and am looking for friends who are interested in the same. I'm super interested in trash and discard studies from an academic perspective, and the issues regarding plastics (both in food and pollution.) myplasticfreelife_feed, grist_feed, and Zero Waste Home. I'd also like to garden more, but pests have defeated my valiant efforts the past few years and I've been reduced to a few herb and tomato plants which generally don't produce much.
On the non-green front, I do have some fandom interests but I don't really plan on talking about them much (Community, Lost Girl, and Fringe are amongst my favorites). I also have a lapsed World of Warcraft habit (just haven't had time for it, but still love playing despite being an eternal n00b), and attend my regional Comic Con anddragoncon every year.
So, anyone out there want to be friends? :D
